The Woodlands, Texas (August 13, 2019) Zach Armstrong of The J. Beard Real Estate Company, LP has represented the Seller in the sale of a pad site at Harmony Commons commercial development, a mixed-use development located at the southwest corner of Grand Parkway 99 and Discovery Creek Boulevard in Spring, Texas. Harmony Commons is adjacent to HEB Grocery at Grand Parkway 99 and Rayford Road.
The 0.96-acre pad site will be used to develop a third location for The Republic Grille, a concept created by the buyer, Terry McBurney. The Republic Grille is well known for serving award-winning high quality Texas cuisine with a Southern twist. The restaurant is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2020 and it will comprise of approximately 6,000 square feet. SLI Group, Inc. of Houston has been chosen for architectural design, site construction and building shell.
“We’ve had a desire to purchase land in the Harmony Commons area for some time and appreciate the forward-thinking ideas Zach and I were able to put forth to consummate this deal,” said McBurney, founder and managing partner of The Republic Grille. Led by Zach Armstrong, The J. Beard Real Estate Company began development plans and marketing efforts in 2007 for Harmony Commercial Development. Originally located at Rayford Rd. and Riley Fuzzel (Grand Parkway 99), the project was comprised of 70+/- acres and the plan consisted of over 240,000 square feet of retail, commercial, and multi-family uses.
Today, the project is nearing total completion and includes multiple national retailers, restaurants, medical groups, a large fitness user and over 500 units of multi-family dwellings. It now sits as the premier regional shopping center for the area. Only one pad site of 0.83-acre remain for potential retail, restaurant, and other professional users.
