Tony Roubik serves as Brand Ambassador for SVN|J. Beard Real Estate, specializing in raising equity capital for the acquisition of commercial real estate investments, for the development of commercial real estate assets, and in generating growth opportunities for the firm through mergers and acquisitions.

Tony has been with SVN since the inception of the national expansion campaign that commenced in 2002 from its Southern California legacy operations.Having served as a Managing Director for SVN in Houston, Texas from 2002 till 2023, Tony has meaningfully contributed to the meteoric growth of the firm and was the recipient of the prestigious Partner’s Circle award for exemplary performance in 2007 and 2009. Tony was also awarded, and is especially proud of being, the 2007 Team Player of the Year. In 2009, Tony was recognized as the #1 SVN Advisor in Texas, and the #11 SVN Advisor in the nation.

Collaboration has been a central theme in Tony’s successful career, and this operating philosophy fits perfectly with the Core Covenants of SVN. By adopting an operating philosophy of “sharing the wealth” in order to bring together whatever team of experts might be needed to best complete any given client’s goals and objectives with exceptional results, Tony has developed a reputation for delivering superb results regardless of the client need. As a result, over the course of his commercial real estate career, Tony has been involved in a remarkable range of sales, leasing, exchange, development, property management, and consulting assignments that have allowed him to acquire an unusually broad perspective on the commercial real estate industry.

In 2023, Tony made the decision to merge his practice with that of the SVN|J. Beard Real Estate Company, recognizing the unique opportunity to join the exceptional team that has been developed there, and focus on maximizing the awareness of the firm’s capabilities by leveraging his unique talents and experiences with the unrivaled operational capabilities of the firm’s personnel. It has been Tony’s observation that you can bring together far more cumulative experience, knowledge and expertise for the benefit of a client if you operate with a team philosophy than you could ever hope to do as a single stand-alone specialist. At SVN, Tony has enjoyed access to, and has built-up long-standing relationships over the years with, some of the best commercial real estate professionals in their respective specialties and geographic markets around the entire country. He looks forward to leveraging those relationships for the benefit of the individuals and entities that are good “matches” with the SVN|J. Beard Real Estate firm’s operating philosophy, and introducing the exceptional performance capabilities of the firm’s personnel to those prospective investors and partners in a manner resulting in the maximization of the goals and objectives of those individuals and entities.

Prior to joining SVN in 2002, Tony operated an independent commercial real estate brokerage practice since 1985 after beginning his real estate career with The Horne Company, a Houston-based prestigious boutique full-service commercial real estate firm, in 1982.

Tony’s educational credentials include an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1981, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering science from Dartmouth College in 1977.
