Altaf H. Akbari is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Texas, serving as an Advisor at SVN | J. Beard Real Estate – Greater Houston. He has earned the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) designation from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

In a former career with Fortune 100 oil and gas companies spanning almost 30 years, Akbari developed oil field economics and strategic business planning software and negotiated multimillion dollar global technology contracts. Afterwards, he started his commercial real estate career at Marcus & Millichap before coming over to SVN.

Akbari has lived in the Houston area for over 35 years. He developed a community assistance program that has helped tens of families become first time homeowners. He is also actively involved with another nonprofit organization that works on building bridges and promoting understanding across various communities.
