The J. Beard Team

Jeff Beard - President and owner founded The J. Beard Real Estate Company, L. P. in October 2003. Beard is a Texas A & M University graduate, earning his degree in Finance, and has over 18 years of commercial real estate experience including development, leasing, asset management and brokerage. Beard is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, a member of International Council of Shopping Centers and past President of the Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County.

Formerly serving as the Director of Retail Properties for The Woodlands Operating Company, L.P. for seven years, his responsibilities included development activities along with directing the leasing, asset management and partnership interests for an extensive retail portfolio. During his tenure with The Woodlands, Beard negotiated over $50 million in lease transactions and $35 million in land sales and earned his CCIM designation in June of 2000.

Jeff’s work experience prior to The Woodlands Operating Company included working as an MAI (Member of the Appraisal Institute) with National Property Valuation where he analyzed and evaluated a broad range of real estate properties throughout the country, including CBD and suburban office buildings, regional malls, shopping centers, hotels, multi-family projects, and master-planned subdivisions.

A resident of The Woodlands since 1998, Jeff and his wife Lisa have three children.
