Beard named 2006 CoStar Power Broker Award Winner



CoStar Group, Inc., the leading provider of commercial real estate information, and Real Estate Forum magazine, the industry's leading news magazine, recently named Jeff Beard a winner of the 2006 CoStar Power Broker award.

Awarded to top brokerage firms and dealmakers in 62 markets across the country, the 2006 Power Brokers are comprised of a distinguished group of firms and brokers. Last year alone, CoStar Power Brokers conducted billions in lease and sale transactions.

Beard has over 18 years of commercial real estate experience including development, leasing, asset management and brokerage. Beard is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, a member of International Council of Shopping Centers and past President of the Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County.

Commercial real estate companies and brokers were recognized by CoStar in each market based on the total square footage of 2006 office, industrial and retail leasing and sales transactions.

Beard founded The J. Beard Real Estate Company, L. P. in October 2003. A resident of The Woodlands since 1998, he and his wife Lisa have three children.
